Development driver Lars Kern needed 7:33 minutes for one lap in a Porsche Taycan Turbo S, beating the previous record holder, the Tesla Model S Plaid.
“We are very pleased that the Nürburgring record for electric cars now lies with Porsche again"says Kevin Giek, head of the Taycan series.
The new best time was made possible by the special equipment Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control and a new performance kit with racing tyres.
