Drama in the United States: An armed man tried to break into the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) building in Cincinnati, Ohio, this evening (Thursday) before fleeing, according to the organization, which called it a “critical incident”.

“Around 9 a.m., an armed subject attempted to break into the FBI visitor screening facility in Cincinnati. After an alert and response by FBI special agents, the suspect fled northbound on Interstate 71,” the FBI tweeted.

NBC cited Clinton County Emergency Management officials as saying law enforcement exchanged gunfire with the suspect, who is described as wearing a gray shirt and body armor. It was also reported that the police closed two highways and imposed an area closure.
