National media including NDTV reports that the film has a worse opening collection than ‘Samrat Prithviraji’ when the first day figures of Rakshabandhan come out. 7.50-8.50 crores on the first day of the film. This figure is much lower than Bollywood’s norm. ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ collected 10 crores on its first day. At the same time, there are reports that the film has received a better response than ‘Lal Singh Chadha’ in theaters including Gujarat.
Raksha Bandhan is a family entertainer directed by Anand. Akshay Kumar’s character in the film is the brother of four sisters. This hero decides that his marriage with Balya Kalasakhi is enough only after their marriage. The film tells about the difficulties they have to face in their lives. Bhumi Patnekar is the heroine.
