Chennai: .Medical and Public Welfare Minister M. Subramanian has given an explanation regarding the non-existence of Beep Biryani Hall at the Chennai Food Festival.
A food festival is being held at Chennai Island on behalf of the Department of Food Safety for 3 days from today to create awareness about food safety.
‘Food Festival 2022 at Singhara Chennai’ Various screen artists and prominent celebrities are going to participate in this festival. 150 halls have been set up to popularize traditional cuisines.
Minister M. Subramanian inaugurated this food festival today. Following this, he was questioned as to why the Beep Biryani Hall was not set up.
Responding to this, Minister M. Subramanian said, “I am also a biryani eater. But the hall has not been set up as no one has sought permission to set up a hall here.”
