Chotanikara: The person who caused the accident while attempting to hijack a parked car was arrested. Chotanikara police arrested Ashley (54) at her home in Arimpur, Chotanikara.
On August 11, around 10:30 p.m., Ashley stole a car that was parked near a hotel in Chotanikara. He drove his wife and two-and-a-half-year-old child into the car when the husband went to buy food. Meanwhile, the car hit a shop and an electric post near the road. A passer-by was also injured.
Then he was arrested by the police. The mother and child in the car were injured. The accused is on the rowdy list of Chotanikara police station. Ashley was arrested by a team led by Inspector KP Jayaprasad, Sub-Inspector AN Saju and ASI Rex Paul.
