“I would have preferred to save a lot of things”: Rinat Gabbai on career regrets

by time news

At the end of August, the show “Forget Me in the Circus” by the Florentine Circus will be performed, starring the children’s star Rinat Gabay and the star of the network Ben Zini. In Gabbay’s conversation with Iris Cole on 103FM, she talked about the preparation for the show and the professional difficulties along the way. “It’s a spectacular show, a show with a story, with content, that gives the children a stunning and classic experience together with amazing circus artists from all over the world. It will be stunning. I never imagined that I was entering something so professional and spectacular.”

Tell me, how many times have you said to yourself: ‘If I’m already in the circus, we’ll go up on the trapeze’?
“Less. Today we just reached this stage of ‘where we incorporate you into the dangerous pyrotechnics’. So my lullabies and pyrotechnics are actually through the songs. Although I’m quite open minded. If I come out alive in rehearsals then we continue and progress.”

“I’m surprised by the repetitions, I meet each time with another thing and another thing,” Gabbay added. “For me, it’s also an experience of surprise, I never imagined that I was going to enter something that is so professional, hot, hot, summer, it feels like a lot of fun.”

As for her long career, she shared: “I go through many things, mostly good things, and I am excited to return every year to the lovely children. There is a new generation thing with diapers, new children who love Rinat and see the content I did 20 years ago, and there are also youth, To travel with them to concerts in Eilat is to feel – ‘How fun it is that I have a warm corner in the heart of the people of Israel.'”

We vary between seeing you as someone on whose lap our children grow up, on the other hand you show us your intimate moments, you are very, very exposed, very honest. This honesty with the media pays off

“Looking back, I would have preferred to save a lot of things that weren’t relevant, because it’s not relevant. A career in the children’s world is a kind of freeway, it’s not easy. It returns love, it does good things in the heart, many wonderful things, very valuable. But Behind the scenes is not necessarily always pleasant, and there are things that are forgotten, but if it is documented and filmed, people somehow remember it, it remains in some corner of their subconscious. So it reminds me that this is ‘rock and roll’, I need to be even stronger and more motivated. It’s okay, other difficulties will come as well.”
