Singara Chennai Food Festival 2022 started yesterday at Thitil Chennai Island. This food festival will be held till 14th. In its opening ceremony, Minister Ma. Subramanian, Shekhar Babu, Mayor of Chennai Corporation Priya, Deputy Mayor Mahesh Kumar, Director, Secretary Hospital, Department of Food Safety and Secretary, Department of Public Welfare and others were present.

For three days traditional food of Tamil Nadu, delicious food and healthy food are displayed here. Food is showcased through 150 stalls.

Subramanian said, “I also eat beef biryani, food is a human right. If the shop owners had asked to set up a beef biryani arena, we would have given permission,” he said.
