Vriddhachalam: Vriddhachalam railway employees paid homage by hoisting the national flag at their residences. On the occasion of the 75th Independence Day, as per the instructions of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the employees working at Vriddhachalam railway station hoisted the national flag at their residences yesterday. Principal Superintendent Selvam presided. Deivanayagam, a former train driver, hoisted the flag. Railway employees, women and children participated in this. Afterwards, everyone was served dessert.
