Bengaluru: On the occasion of Independence Day, PMRCL has decided to provide an opportunity to sell handloom and Khadar products at metro stations. Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited issued a statement yesterday: PMRCL has decided to promote handloom and Khadar products on the occasion of Independence Day Amuda Festival. Handloom weavers and handicraft makers will be given free opportunity to sell.

From the 15th to the 21st, there will be an exhibition and sale of weavers’ products. Already, shops have been allotted to weavers and handicraft producers from many places in Karnataka. Up to one week, they will be allowed to sell their goods at the place. Khadar clothes, handicrafts, dresses, home decoration handicrafts, formal wear, sarees, men’s, women’s and children’s clothes, even tin goods can be sold, it said. .
