Chennai: Ramadoss, the founder of BAMA, said that India should understand Sri Lanka’s betrayal of allowing the Chinese spy ship.
He said on his Twitter page, “The Government of Sri Lanka, which denied permission to the Chinese spy ship following India’s pressure, has now changed its position and allowed the Chinese spy ship to come to Ambantota port the day after tomorrow. The action of the Sri Lankan government is a huge betrayal of trust.
If the Chinese ship docks in Sri Lankan port, the southern states including Tamil Nadu will be spied on; Sri Lanka has given permission to the Chinese ship even after warning that it would pose a threat to India’s security. This is an example of Sri Lanka’s affection for China.
India will provide Tornier 228 fighter jet to Sri Lanka free of charge tomorrow. In this way, Sri Lanka is betraying India by getting all the military assistance and economic assistance. This is its nature.
India should understand Sri Lanka’s treachery and formulate foreign policy accordingly. Considering India’s security, the central government should take steps to return the island that was given to Sri Lanka free of charge.”
