Aviel Zargari’s deal to Maccabi Haifa is expected to be signed soon. The young midfielder is expected to sign a long-term contract with the champion, and return to play on loan this season at Beitar Jerusalem. As it did in previous cases, Maccabi Haifa will keep the possibility of returning the midfielder in January.
Zargari will transfer to Maccabi Haifa for the cancellation of Beitar Jerusalem’s debt for Jordan Shua in the amount of 1.8 million NIS. The deal was originally offered to Yaakov Shahar by Moshe Hogg, and received the approval of the champion’s president, but was frozen following the transfer of ownership in the group from the capital so that Barak Abramov could decide. The new owner informed Nathan of his agreement, and conditioned it on the condition that the contact be loaned back to Beitar.
At the same time, Barak Becher gave his players a rest today (Sunday), and tomorrow he will step up preparations for the game on Wednesday (22:00, live broadcast on 5SPORT) against Red Star Belgrade.
