When it came time to choose the wedding dress – this time for her real wedding – Katia Aberbuch did not get too involved, and turned to Lehi Hood, the same designer who was responsible for her wedding dress in “Hatunmi”.
On a daily basis, Katya is not a woman of white at all – she likes to put together looks of as many colors as possible, and you will have a hard time capturing it in a neutral monochromatic. But when it comes to a wedding dress, she did wisely and chose a classic and timeless model – a satin dress with flattering asymmetrical gathers, a high slit and tiny sleeves with gathers that fall off the shoulders. The shoes are Jimmy Choo, a personal import of the shoe-sick bride from New York, and the jewelry is by Daniela Capelloto. Katya chose to embroider the sentence – From first sight until forever – on the hinoma.

The first dress did the job, but the look that really excited us was actually the second dress, also designed by Leahy Hood. There, Katya’s happy personality really comes to the fore, with a light and chic short dress, perfect for dancing.
After debating between two pairs of Mach & Mach shoes, Katia chose white shoes with an embellished bow that gave the necessary twist to the dress and jumped it to new heights. And there was also a deliberate tribute to Olivia Newton-John, the beloved star who passed away last week. Hairstylist Shay Botha gathered Katya’s hair into a high ponytail tied with a white ribbon, just like Sandy’s in “Grease”. The end result is a look full of style, but also character.
