India recently toured the West Indies and won the ODI series there 3 – 0 (3) with a whitewash of young players led by Shikhar Dhawan. In the subsequent 5-match T20 series, Rohit Sharma’s leadership led India to return home with a 4 – 1 (5) victory. But in both the series at home, the West Indies, who performed modestly in the fields of batting and bowling, suffered successive defeats in front of their own fans.
At the time of cricket’s inception, the West Indies were the number one team in the world, giving tough to teams like England and Australia. Moreover, the team that ruled the world with fast bowlers who bowled so furiously that the batsmen could empty their skulls with a little Ashantal, led by Clive Lloyd, won the first 2 ICC World Cups in the history held in 1975 and 1979 and shined as the king of the hair.

Poverty-stricken:
Especially, it can be said that the last world-class players like Brian Lara got in the 90s for the team that dominated world cricket in the 70s and 80s. Yes, after his era, the team that was struggling to find quality next generation young players turned into Kathucutti after 2010. The main reason for this is that the West Indies Cricket Board is in financial crisis and cannot provide their basic first-class cricket and the necessary facilities for the young players to suit the modern cricket that has seen a huge evolution in the 21st century.
The best example of this is that Chris Gayle, Bravo, Pollard, Russell, Narine, who threatened the last generation of Anda’s dynasty, was caught in economic crisis and unable to pay the necessary salaries. Because of this fundamental problem, players playing for West Indies prefer to play in series like IPL rather than playing for the country.

Request to Sachin:
In that situation, you don’t need thousands of dollars to provide basic facilities to the young players in your country, because equipment like 10-15 bats are enough, former West Indies player Winston Benjamin asked Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar if you can do it. He also thanked former Indian captain Mohammad Azharuddin for already helping them and said that if anyone else comes forward to help them, he would welcome them with open arms.

His request during the T20 series between India and West Indies touched the hearts of all the fans. So while the fans were expecting that Sachin would help him, he did not give any response even after more than 2 weeks of his request. And since Sachin is posting other posts on his Twitter, it is also clear that he is not going to help till the end.

Kudos to Puma:
However, the famous sports equipment manufacturing company “Puma”, which has informed us whether Sachin has asked for your request or not, has announced that it will not only provide the bat requested by Winston Benjamin, but also gloves, shoes and other unsolicited help. Sharing a photo of the equipment being packed and sent to the West Indies, the company is currently showered with praise from fans.
Congratulations Team @pumacricket .. Great work ???? https://t.co/257MdB2Xgh

Former Indian players Yuvraj Singh and Suresh Raina have also praised it heartily. It is noteworthy that the same Puma company volunteered to help when Zimbabwean player Ryan Burle tearfully asked if they could get a good shoe to avoid the situation of sticking glue after every series without shoes.
