Manchester United players are fed up. Cristiano Ronaldo and several other players directly addressed the management with an urgent request to make signings this summer in order to recover from the catastrophic start to the season. The Red Devils are in last place in the league after the humiliating 4:0 to Brentford, when in addition to CR7, Harry Maguire, Marcus Rashford, Luke Shaw and Bruno Fernandes pleaded with the management that they want a purchase to arrive before the transfer window closes on September 1.
United players feel that the management has shown a lack of commitment and ambition by not bringing in significant players to deepen the existing squad. United lost five players this summer in the form of Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic, Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard and Edinson Cavani, but signed only three players.
