5. Navdeep Saini: Hailing from Haryana, he made his debut in T20 cricket in 2019 as he bowled at a blistering pace in the local and IPL series. He took 3 wickets in the debut match and won the man of the match award. He took 4 wickets in 2 Tests and 8 wickets in 6 ODIs.

Since then he has recovered and other young players have taken his place and he is acting as a bowler who provides few runs in the IPL series. Therefore, he has gone far from the Indian team and is now trying to make a comeback by performing well in the county championship series.
4. Khalil Ahmed: The Rajasthan native made his debut for India in the 2018 Asia Cup as he took 19 wickets in the 2018 IPL season. A left-handed bowler, he took 3 wickets in the debut match and performed moderately in the subsequent matches.

Especially in T20 cricket, he bowled at an economy rate of 8.83 and was dropped from the team. Now that left-handed bowlers like Natarajan and Arshideep Singh have arrived, he has to work hard to regain his place.
3. Shivam Dubey: The Mumbai native made his debut in T20 cricket in 2019 after performing well in a few IPL matches aiming to become an all-rounder in the ranks of Hardik Pandya. But he was dismissed for just 1 run on debut and bowled just 105 runs in 13 matches at a modest average of 17.5 and a poor economy of 10.05.

Especially in 2020 against New Zealand, he was dropped after giving away 34 runs in one over, and he did not perform well for the Chennai team in this year’s IPL series. So if he wants to play for the Indian team again, he has to perform well at the local level for 2-3 years.
2. Venkatesh Iyer: Kolkata, who struggled in the first part of the 2021 season, performed tremendously in the 2nd part in Dubai and scored 370 runs in 10 matches to advance to the final and thus got the opportunity to play for India. Expected to replace the injured Hardik Pandya at the time, he made his debut in the ODI series against South Africa last January and did not impress everyone.
However, he was an impressive finisher in the T20 series against the West Indies at home and was not picked after that as he performed poorly in the subsequent IPL 2022 series. 1. Prithivi Shah: The 2018 U-19 World Cup winning captain made his debut for India the same year and got off to a stunning start by scoring 134 runs in his debut Test match. The then coach Ravi Shastri praised him as a mixture of Sachin, Laura and Sehwag, who started celebrating him as Kutty Sehwag.
Therefore, he emerged as a star of hope and performed modestly in the subsequent Australian tour, scoring just 102 runs in 6 innings. Because of that, he is now doing well in domestic cricket, so we can hope that he will return to the Indian team soon.
