Research Coordinator – Fundraising Magazine

by time news

The focus of our Foundation is to fund scientific research into the causes of and solutions to the disease multiple sclerosis (MS). MS is literally and figuratively a nerve-racking disease that affects people in the prime of their lives. Thanks to our donors, we are able to invest approximately 3 million euros annually in research. We also provide information about (the consequences of) MS and the research we fund. Our Foundation stands for quality, integrity, reliability and connection and works purposefully. Donors know that their donation is well spent.

As a research coordinator you form the bridge between the research field and our target group; people with MS and their loved ones. You speak the language of researchers, but you can also make the research understandable for our supporters, our donors and the general public. • You maintain and initiate contact with researchers.
  • You are involved in the organization and program of the MS Research Days, an annual conference for MS professionals.
  • You maintain (inter)national contacts within the MS field and the charity sector. To do this, you will work closely with the coordinators of academic MS centers and participate in various working groups and meetings.
  • You answer questions about (living with) MS and research into the disease MS.
  • You inform donors about the research that has been made possible with their support.
  • You keep the information for professionals and about MS (research) on our website up to date.
  • You contribute substantively to online news items and articles in the magazine Rondom MS and you provide input for offline and online communications.
