Sensex- Dinamani crossed 60,000 points again

Continuing its winning streak with continued support from foreign investors, the BSE Sensex crossed the 60,000-point target again in Wednesday’s trade.

The Sensex rose 417.92 points (0.70 percent) to settle at 60,260.13 in early trade on Wednesday. In between, it rose as much as 481.04 points to 60,323.25.

Stocks of Bajaj Finsav, Bajaj Finance, Bharti Airtel, Tech Mahindra, HCL Technologies, NTPC, Wipro and Hindustan Unilever were the top gainers in Wednesday’s trade.

Shares of Mahindra & Mahindra, Maruti, Ultratech Cement, Pav Grid and others declined.

Market experts said that the continuous support of foreign investors is the main reason for the current improvement in the domestic stock markets.

She said that in the context of western countries’ markets being affected by inflation, the Indian economy has shown stability without facing the expected setback, which has encouraged foreign investors.

Nifty

The benchmark Nifty was up 119 points (up 0.67 per cent) at 17,944.25 in Wednesday’s trade.

Crude oil 92.22 dollars

Brent crude was down 0.13 percent at $92.22 a barrel in international trading on Wednesday.
