The funeral took place from his parents’ house on Yona Hanavi Street in the city of Bnei Brak, where he lived since he was born 18 years ago. Hundreds of people take part in the painful funeral procession, when the late Mordechai drowned last night on the Sea of Galilee in front of his father, as part of a trip between times. His friends in the yeshiva tell ‘JDN News’ about a guy who was loved and admired in the yeshiva. “He studied the Torah and exalted himself with reverence and also brightened the face of all the students. His father is Rabbi Yehezkel Chaim Schlesinger, an overseer at the ‘Beer HaTalmud’ Elad Yeshiva, the son-in-law of Rabbi Shlomo Finkelstein, one of the most important worshipers at the Devri Shir Synagogue in Bnei Brak.
