The team of the “OPJ” series broadcast on France 3 and Réunion Première is in mourning. The actress Marion Campan who plays in this detective series was found dead at her home on Monday August 15 in Saint-Paul on the island of Reunion, according to information from the L’info.re site confirmed by Le Parisien.
She played Joséphine Fleury, the team’s medical examiner in the series, whose filming for season 4 had just ended. According to several local media, the young woman had to return to the metropolis at the end of the week.
The Saint-Denis public prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation “in order to establish with certainty the circumstances of the death”.
The actress’s sister, Chloé Campan, explained on her Facebook account that her body should be repatriated in the coming days. She launched an online kitty for this purpose, explaining that “our whole family, as well as his friends are destroyed”. More than 18,000 euros have already been raised.
Season 3 of the series was broadcast on France 3 in the first part of the evening but also daily. Filming for season 4 on the island took place from May 18 to August 9.
