Microentrepreneurs, artisans, small producers and entrepreneurs (MSMEs) must follow around three steps to access the credit ‘1×30’ promoted by the Government. Those interested have a term of up to 30 years and an interest rate of 1%.

The social credit, presented last Tuesday, includes loans from 500 to 5,000 dollars. If you request between 500 and 3,000 dollars, you do not need guarantors, but if you require more than three thousand dollars, you must present a guarantor.

The form of payment is monthly and the installments can be between 18 and 40 dollars, depending on the conditions.

Here are the steps you need to follow to get the benefit:

1.- Register your productive activity

You can do it on the formalization platform of the Ministry of Production, Foreign Trade, Investment and Fisheries: https://servicios.produccion.gob.ec/.

There you have to choose the productive activity to which you are dedicated and fill in the data of your business, the representative and the product.

In the case of artisans, they can also access with the registration of the National Artisan Defense Board (https://www.artesanos.gob.ec) with the artisan qualification for the first time or by requalification, which is recorded in the SRI.

Upon completion of registration, your certificate will be displayed in pdf format or sent to your email account.

3.- Go to a BanEcuador agency

You must bring the following documents: identity card, voting certificate, form of any basic service, certificate of activity and BanEcuador application form.

Later, the documentation will be analyzed and in a few days they will give you an answer.
