Cholaveera’s hymn; Ponniyan Selvan New Song
Ponniyan Selvan, directed by Mani Ratnam, is the film that the Indian cinema world is waiting for. A new song from the film is out. The song starting with Chola Chola is sung by Satya Prakash, V.M. Mahalingam and Nakul Abhayankar. Lyrics are by Ilango Krishna. Along with Vikram, Aishwarya Rai is also appearing in song scenes.
The song Ponni Nadi which was released earlier also got attention. Karthi has come to this song. The Malayalam version of this song, sung by Rahman himself, was sung by music director Alphonse Putra.
Mani Ratnam is making the film based on legendary writer Kalki’s famous historical novel Ponniyil Selvan. The film tells the story of the Chola dynasty that takes place in the 10th century.
Releasing on September 30, the film will also release in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi languages. The film, which is being prepared with an investment of 500 crores, is jointly produced by Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions.
