The British Defense Minister said this morning that “Russia is shelling Kharkiv to prevent Ukraine from using forces elsewhere.” He explained that “the attack in Kharkiv, in the northeast of the second largest city in Ukraine, fetters the Ukrainian forces and prevents their availability for a counterattack in other areas.”
Meanwhile, the governor of Ukraine announced that 17 people were killed and 42 injured in two Russian attacks in Kharkiv in the last two days.
