Jyothika made her comeback to films after years of taking a break from acting after her marriage. Jyothika explains the reason why she fell in love with Suriya for the first time.
In an interview with Behind Woods, Jyothika opened up about Surya and why she fell in love for the first time.
Jyotika says that what attracted her the most to Surya was the respect Surya gives to women.
Suriya spoke to me very little when I was making my first film. We acted together in seven films before our wedding. Suriya’s respect for the co-artist while doing all these films impressed me a lot.
Also the respect given to women is something I like about him. He held his body while acting only in a way that made us feel comfortable,’ says Jyothika.
Jyotika also says that Surya has many qualities as a human being. Jyothika adds that in 12 years of marriage, there has not been a single fight and no one would believe this.
“No one will believe me if I say that we have never had a fight in our 12 years of marriage, but that is the truth. He is perfect as a partner, as a husband and as a father,’ said Jyothika.
Jyothika’s last release is ‘Udanpirup’. The film was produced by Suriya and Jyothika’s production company Two D Entertainments.
