An Israeli on the way to the French league? Michael Brisker, one of the most prominent Israelis in the Premier League, is in advanced negotiations with Po Ortez of the first division. Brisker also received an offer from Granada in Spain, but it seems that he will move to Ortez in the end.
The 24-year-old Brisker scored 11.9 points (47.8% from three) per game in the Premier League this season, along with 2.1 rebounds per night. He is considered one of the most prominent players in Israel in the Gilboa Galil uniform and even received several offers from teams in Israel.
Po Ortez finished the past season in sixth place and lost to Monaco in the semi-finals of the French league. The team knocked out Tomer Ginat’s Metropolitans in the quarterfinals of the playoffs. If Brisker does get through, he’ll team up with Michael Stockton – John’s son.
