Chennai: The Chennai Meteorological Department has informed that there is a possibility of widespread rain and heavy rain at a few places in Tamil Nadu for 4 days.
Information released by Chennai Meteorological Department: Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely at a few places in Tamilnadu, Puduwai and Karaikal today due to the low atmospheric circulation prevailing over the coastal areas of Tamil Nadu.
Delta districts, Kanchipuram, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Cuddalore, Pudukottai, Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Theni, Dindigul districts, Puducherry and Karaikal are likely to receive heavy rain at a few places.
Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely at many places over Tamil Nadu, Puduwai and Karaikal on 23rd. Delta districts, Kanchipuram, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Cuddalore, Pudukottai, Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Theni, Dindigul districts, Puducherry and Karaikal are likely to receive heavy rain at a few places.
Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely at many places over Tamil Nadu, Puduwai and Karaikal on 24th. Delta districts, Kanchipuram, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Cuddalore, Pudukottai, Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Theni, Dindigul, Tenkasi, Erode, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri districts, Puducherry and Karaikal regions are likely to receive heavy rain.
On 25th and 26th, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely at many places over Tamil Nadu, Puduwai and Karaikal. Delta districts, Kanchipuram, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Cuddalore, Pudukottai, Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Theni, Dindigul, Tenkasi, Tirunelveli, Kanyakumari districts, Puducherry and Karaikal are likely to receive heavy rain at a few places.
