Captain is the latest film starring Tamil actor Arya. The makers have released the trailer of the movie, which will hit the theaters as a huge action thriller. The trailer suggests that the film is about a military officer who is assigned to hunt aliens. The film is directed by Shakti Soundar Rajan. Malayalam actress Aishwarya Lakshmi is the heroine in the film. Old South Indian actress Simran also plays the lead role.
Aishwarya Lakshmi made her Tamil debut with Vishal starrer Action. After that, the actor appeared in a handful of films like the Brahmanda Tamil film Ponniyin Selvan, Jagame Thanthiram, Puttam Pudhu Kalai Vityatha and Gargi. The lyrical video of the song ‘Ninaives’ from Captain has also been released by the crew. Imman’s music is sung by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
The film is jointly produced by The Show People and Think Studios. Cinematography by S. Yuva and music composed by D. It is Imman. Captain is edited by Pradeep E. Raghav. The film also stars Harish Uttaman, Kavya Shetty, Gokul Anand, Suresh Menon, Bharat Raj and Ambuli Gokul. The film will hit the theaters on September 8.
