The incident of Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Lok Sabha member Pandi Sanjay Kumar taking away the shoes of Indian Home Minister Amit Shah, who was visiting a temple in Secunderabad, Telangana, has caused severe shocks on social media. Senior leaders of the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi Party in Telangana have criticized Amit Shah and the Bharatiya Janata Party in this matter.
Home Minister Amit Shah, who is in Secunderabad to attend party functions in Telangana, visited the Ujjain Mahakali Mata Devasthanam temple there on Sunday and paid darshan. Later, when he came out of the temple, Amit Shah went viral on social media from Monday morning to take state BJP president Pandi Sanjay Kumar’s shoes from the shoe storage area and put them on.
Following this, KT Rama Rao, son of ruling Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhara Rao and one of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi leaders, posted a few posts on his Twitter page with the hashtag “Telangana Pride”.
In it, he said, “The people of the state are watching the slaves of Gujarat carry the shoes of Delhi. They will thwart any attempt to denigrate Telangana’s self-respect.”
Following this, TRS party social media team coordinator Y. Satish Reddy noted that Pandi Sanjay’s seva “is excellent in Kulamgiri”. Kulamgiri means servitude in Hindi.
One of the TRS leaders, M. Krishan tweeted.
In a tweet posted by Congress MP and Telangana state Congress in-charge Manikam Thakur, he said, “Telangana BJP state president Sanjay Pandi is taking Amit Shah’s shoes. Look at the status of a backward class leader in BJP.”
Lately, the ruling TRS party and the BJP in Telangana have been openly at loggerheads on various issues.
Respect is not slavery: Description of BJP MP
In this situation, Pandi Sanjay Kumar, who was involved in the controversy regarding the removal of Amit Shah’s sandals, has given an explanation. “It is customary for the younger ones to give the shoes to the elders in the family,” he said.
Pandi Sanjay Kumar said, “We are not the ones who sprinkle water in the morning when there is a need. It is not our habit. We are not slaves.”
You are the ones who killed father and mother and came to power in Olarangazeb style. He also mentioned what do you know about our culture.
In Telangana, the ruling CM’s family is pitted against each other in a power struggle. Pandi Sanjay also accused them of exaggerating such things to distract from their problems.
By-election will be held in Manukodu constituency in Nalakonda district of Telangana state. Amit Shah arrived on Sunday to participate in a party function held on the occasion. Addressing a public meeting there, Amit Shah said that the party that came to power was the TRS, which had broken the confidence of the people of the state.
The destruction of TRS has begun – Amit Shah
During Amit’s visit, former Congress president Rajagopal Reddy formally joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. Welcoming him, Amit Shah said, “Rajagopal Reddy’s joining the BJP is the beginning of rooting out the ruling KCR government in the state. The TRS party wanted to celebrate Telangana Day in September, but refrained from doing so due to fear of Majlis.”
Talking about the succession politics prevailing in the TRS party, Amit Shah said, “If the TRS government is formed in the state, the party promised to make a member of the Dalit community as the chief minister. But it has not done so so far. If the party is chosen again, his son KTR will come to power instead of KCR. “Besides, no one from the Dalit community will be the chief minister,” he said.
KCR son reaction
KT Rama Rao responded to Amit Shah’s statement on his Twitter page. “Your son Jai Shah is now the secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India,” KTR said.
A meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s executive committee was held in Hyderabad last July. When Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to participate in the meeting, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi party held flex digital banners criticizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi next to the digital flex banners raised by the BJP to welcome him.
After this issue, the conflict between the two parties has intensified. In the midst of this, the BJP, which is trying to take root in the state of Telangana, is now facing the TRS party politically.
