There are 1,042 new infections from Coronavirus today, 22 August 2022 in Lombardy, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. Since yesterday, 16 deaths have been recorded, bringing the total number of victims since the beginning of the pandemic to 42,099. In the last 24 hours the swabs processed were 7,899 with a positivity rate of 13.1%. Intensive care admissions are decreasing: they are 20, one less than yesterday, while those in the ordinary wards rise to 790, 8 more than yesterday.
As for Milan, in the province of Milan there are 320 of which 144 in Milan city. In Bergamo the positives are 94, in Brescia 196, in Como 41, in Cremona 43, in Lecco 15, in Lodi 11, in Mantua 53, in the province of Monza and Brianza 92, in Pavia 63, in Sondrio 19, in Varese 50.
