A group of Apple workers rejects the plan to return to the office from September

A group of workers from tech giant Apple has expressed its rejection of the plan to return to the office that the company unveiled for its employees last week, taking advantage of a hybrid model.

The Apple Together group, made up of company workers, has issued an internal statementcollected by the British newspaper ‘Financial Times’, in which it rejects the company’s plan because it fails to realize that many employees are “happier and more productive” working outside of the traditional office.

Apple’s plan was that starting September 5, all employees return to work in person at the office for three days. The company’s goal is to first apply it to its Silicon Valley offices and then spread to the rest.

The group of workers defends that employees should be able to decide with their direct boss the work formula that best suits their situation.
