The Rami Levy chain takes an unprecedented step in Israel and promotes a system of food deliveries using drones. This is how they advertise today (Monday) in “Globes”. According to the company’s financial reports, at the beginning of the month “Rami Levy” signed an investment agreement in a company called “Kando Drones” which deals with the control, control and operation of fleets of drones.

Investing in a drone company founded by Shalva ex-officers

In this way, “Rami Levy” actually joins the American retail giants such as Amazon, Walmart and others that already operate fleets of drones for the purpose of deliveries. As mentioned, Rami Levy made the investment in the Cando Drones company – an Israeli company founded by three former military personnel: Yoali Or, Brigadier General who held a series of senior command positions in the IDF and even served in the Marines; Alon Kloss, Brigadier General who served as Chief Artillery Officer; and Moshe Kipnis, Lt. Col.

As part of the investment, Rami Levy purchased a third (33.3%) of Kando Drones shares for an undisclosed amount. According to estimates, Rami Levy intends to operate a fleet of over 100 drones that will be operated by the network’s delivery system and will greatly contribute to the efficiency of deliveries.
