Tirupur: Tirupur Chellamnagar, Kaiser Garden, Leeds Manchester Academy of Sports organized a state level football tournament. 32 teams including Palladam, Udumalai, Dharmapuri, Madurai, Kanyakumari, Salem, Coimbatore, Kerala participated. In the two-day ‘knockout’ tournament, Tirupur Juniors won the first place, A.F.C., Palladam won the second place, Selected Squads came third and Leeds Manchester Academy came fourth.Techno Sports Director Sunil Kumar, Ashok, Anika Garments Director Prabhu, Leeds Group Director Palaniswami and Kaiser Group Director Saravanakumar participated and distributed prizes to the winners. Leeds Manchester Academy of Sports Chief Secretary Vanitha, Deputy Secretary Suresh Kumar, Ranjith Kumar, Akurraja etc. participated.
