Crazy: a man contracted corona, HIV and monkeypox in the same week

The patient, a 36-year-old Italian man, developed fever, sore throat, fatigue, headaches, and inflammation in the groin area about 9 days after returning from a 5-day trip to Spain, during which he had intercourse with men without a condom. He was found positive for the buyer in his test, after he had already been vaccinated.

Within hours of testing positive for the coronavirus, a rash appeared on his left arm and blisters spread over his body over the next few days, prompting him to go to the emergency room at a hospital in the city of Catania. A series of tests taken at the hospital came back positive for monkeypox, COVID-19 and HIV.

The HIV test showed a high viral load and together with a negative test less than a year ago. The patient was released from the hospital after almost a week and recovered from the corona and the monkeypox, although a small scar remained from the blisters on his hands.
