BCCI announces India A squad for series against New Zealand A

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the 16-man India A squad for the three 4-day matches against New Zealand ‘A’.

Priyank Panjal has been appointed as the captain of India A team. The team has two wicket keepers in KS Bharat and Upendra Yadav. Sarfaraz Khan has made it to the team after his impressive performances in the domestic circuit.

Rahul Chahar and Kuldeep Yadav are the two leg spinners and Umran Malik and Prishit Krishna are among the fast bowlers.

The first match will be played from 1st September to 4th September and the second match will be played from 8th September to 11th September. The third and final match will be held from September 15 to September 18.

The three ODIs will be held on September 22, 25 and 27 respectively and all the matches will be played at Chennai MA. It will be held at Chidambaram Stadium. The ODI squad will be announced soon.

Priyank Panjal (capt), Abhimanyu Easwaran, Rudraj Gaekwad, Rajat Patidar, Sarfaraz Khan, Tilak Verma, KS Bharat (Wk), Upendra Yadav (WK), Kuldeep Yadav, Saurabh Kumar, Rahul Chahar, Prasith Krishna, Umran Malik , Mukesh Kumar, Yash Dayal, Arzan Nagwaswalla.
