Sonali Phogat Death: Decisive turning point in the death of actress and BJP leader Sonali Phogat. After Sonali’s family and relatives came forward alleging mystery in Sonali’s death, the Goa police registered a case of murder and started an investigation.
The turning point in the case was when Sonali Phogat’s brother Rinku Dhaka accused her of raping and killing her in Goa. He also mentioned the names of two of Sonali’s close associates, personal assistants Sudhir Sangwan and Sukhwinder, who were behind the conspiracy. With this, the Goa Police has registered a case of murder against them under IPC Section 302.

After the news of Sonali’s death came out, there were indications that the cause of death was not a heart attack. Sonali’s mother, sister, daughter, brother and others have come forward alleging mystery in the death. Sonali had mentioned in her last phone conversation with her mother that the food felt special and that there was some conspiracy going on. Besides, the family also alleged that Sonali saw scars on her body. Also, the brother claimed that the CCTV cameras, laptop and other critical items from their farmhouse in Haryana went missing after their deaths.
Two days after Sonali Phogat’s death, another autopsy was conducted at a government-run hospital on Thursday after her family members gave their consent. But the report has not been made public yet.
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant had said on Wednesday that the state police is conducting a detailed investigation into the death of Sonali Phogat.
