TOKYO – Japan’s police chief wants to take responsibility for the insufficient protection of the politician after the assassination of former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. Itaru Nakamura announced his resignation at a press conference on Thursday. “As we push new security measures, it’s natural to approach this with a new lineup of people,” Nakamura said.
