by time news

It’s not just the cost of school supplies that will increase at the start of the school year. Due to inflation linked to the war in Ukraine, the price of meals in the canteen will also rise, around 5 to 10% for families, according to the Association of Mayors of France (AMF).

And for good reason, the National Union of Collective Catering (SNRC) asks the municipalities to increase by 7% on average the price of the meal negotiated each year by the collective catering providers with the town halls; some will pass the increase on to the parents.
