Los Angeles County was ordered to pay 248 million rupees to Kobe’s widow Vanessa and another plaintiff.

The accident happened in January 2020 in California. Kobe (41), his daughter Gianna (13) and six family friends died when the copter crashed. County sheriff’s officials and firefighters captured and disseminated the horrific footage of the accident. The families have complained that it has given them severe psychological trauma. The plaintiffs were Vanessa Bryant and Chris Chester. Chester’s wife Sarah and daughter Peyton were killed in the crash. Vanessa will get Rs 127.5 crore and Chester Rs 120.5 crore as compensation.

Last November, Los Angeles County promised to pay 20 million in compensation for mental problems. However, Vanessa Bryant was not ready to settle.
