Belgian Standard Liege has opened negotiations with Maccabi Tel Aviv regarding the purchase of Stipa Fritza. According to sources in Belgium close to the club that recently bought Osher Davide for 1.6 million euros from Hapoel Tel Aviv, the Belgian team that previously signed Orlando Sa from the Yellows, very much wants to acquire the Croatian striker who is in the last year of his contract with Kiryat Shalom.
The same source stated that in his estimation the offer of the Belgians will be about 1.5 million euros for the Yellows and the goal is to end the negotiations as quickly as possible, since the transfer window is nearing its end and it is possible that in the next two days there will be developments that will lead to the conclusion of the deal that will lead to the sale of the Croatian from Maccabi cell. In Belgium it is reported that at this stage Maccabi Tel Aviv is refusing the offer, but it is also stated that it is a matter of money and if the right offer comes from Liège, it is believed that he will be sold.
All this is happening against the background of the reports in France, according to which Maccabi Tel Aviv has agreed on the purchase of winger Aldo Kalolo from Sosho. Of course, if Pritza is indeed sold in the coming days and Kalolo arrives, he will occupy the foreigner slot that the Croatian striker vacates. It is no secret that the coach Vladan Ivic prefers to play in a 4-3-3 system and therefore Fritza’s future was up in the air throughout the summer due to the desire to add wing players.
