When the case related to this came up for hearing in the Supreme Court, last year the Supreme Court ordered the demolition of the buildings. The building will be demolished tomorrow, August 28 at 2.30 pm. As a precautionary measure, the evacuation of more than 7,000-8,000 people living near the twin tower building is in full swing.
Noida Municipal Administration informed that everyone will be evacuated before 7 am tomorrow. Residents of Emerald Court and ATS Village in Sector 23A will evacuate their more than 150 domestic animals by 7 am and security personnel by 12 noon.
Similarly, 2,700 vehicles in the area will also be disposed of. The Housing Society of the area has arranged for the evacuees to temporarily stay in nearby apartments like Paraswanath Sristi, Paraswanath Prestige and Eltico Utopia. Arrangements have been made to accommodate around 200 people in the clubhouse there and provide food to them.
Paraswanath Prestige Society has arranged for 100-150 people with golden bed, chair, special medical room etc. Similarly, it is said that the people of the area will be allowed to return to their residence only at 4 pm. Permission will be granted only after proper inspection by security officials.

Doctors at the Felix Hospital said that due to the demolition of these huge flats, there is a possibility of huge dust and smoke and health problems. As this problem will remain for the next 7 to 90 days, precautionary measures will be taken to deal with it. Accordingly, residents have been advised to use facial masks, glasses for eye protection and skin care creams.
It is said that most of the residents are planning to shift their residence to areas like Delhi, Gurugram, Ghaziabad, and some are planning to travel to places like Uttarakhand and Rajasthan during this period.
