Thiruvananthapuram: Police have received a tip-off about the accused who attacked the CPM Thiruvananthapuram district committee office at night. The police say that ABVP activists threw stones at the CPM office. Police say that they threw stones at the office during the treatment. They were injured in the clash in Vanjiyur and sought treatment. After this, there was an attack on the CPM district committee office. The attack on CPM Thiruvananthapuram district committee office took place at 2 am on Saturday. The group arrived on three bikes and started pelting stones. The car of District Secretary Anavoor Nagappan, which was parked in front of the office, was also damaged in the attack. The CPM has accused the RSS of being behind the attack. CPM Thiruvananthapuram District Secretary Anavoor Nagappan himself had told Asianet News that RSS workers are behind it and the Vanchiyur conflict is a continuation. Mayor Arya Rajendran has alleged that the stone pelting on the CPM district office is a continuation of the attacks on the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation Council by BJP and UDF.
