At the beginning of August, a famous reality star in Russia – Anastasia Kocherbay, 28 – disappeared without a trace after she stopped answering phones and messages. This brought her friends to contact the Russian police and now after her body was found in the river there is a fear that it was a murder.

On August 13, the body of a young woman was pulled from a river in St. Petersburg, dressed only in underwear and with a tattoo of a deck of cards on her back, but at the time the police did not suspect that this was a criminal act. Last Wednesday, the police updated that the woman had been identified as the disappearing reality star and even added that there is now a substantial suspicion of murder.

Close friend and reality star Olesya Malibu stated that the deceased was in a troubled relationship with a man who allegedly threatened to kill her. She added that a few weeks ago Kocherbay was acting normal but told her she knew it would end badly.

Kocherbay was known in Russia as a participant in reality shows, the main one of which was Dom-2, a program in which the participants build a house together and try to find partners in the process. This show is considered to be the longest running reality show on Russian TV since 2004.
