Technological advances are exhibited at the Tigo Campus Party

The Tigo Campus Party kicked off yesterday, an innovation and technology event organized within the framework of Tigo’s 30 years of presence in Paraguay, with multiple activities at the Conmebol Convention Center, such as lectures and workshops with national and international experts, hackathons , robotics and gaming.

Waiting for more than 15,000 participants in three days (the activity continues today and tomorrow), the conference space includes three scenarios with simultaneous dissertations, and with one of the most anticipated characters: Spot, the robot dog, who accompanied Ignacio Méndez during his dissertation. The speaker is the technology and innovation leader of the consulting firm CSI Ingenieros, and spoke on robotics applied to engineering and construction.

The lectures given the day before had technology and innovation applied to a myriad of activities, items and sectors, such as the gastronomic industry, education, air mobility, surveillance, marketing, food, free software, as the leading theme. , the kingdom of cryptocurrencies and own dreams.

Regarding today’s activities, video game fans will have a site dedicated to them, because the great National Robotics League 2022-2023 will take place, and tomorrow the Programming and Robotics Competition will take place at the Tigo Telecenters.

In this way, the Tigo Telecenters are fulfilling the mission of bridging the digital gap and bringing technology closer for a better development of students, teachers and parents of the many communities where they are installed, according to Carlos Blanco, general director of the company.
