Mumbai: Wife’s boyfriend stabs husband to death in Santa Cruz. Aqeel Syed (40) stabbed to death Parvesh Shaikh (41), the husband of a woman named Shahjahan. Parvesh Shaikh called his wife’s friend Aqeel Syed saying that he had to talk about continuing his relationship with his wife. It is reported that Akhil stabbed Parvesh to death in the ensuing dispute. Aqeel Syed was arrested by the Wakola police on Saturday in connection with the incident.
Aqeel was closely related to Parvesh’s wife Shahjahan. Parvesh called Sheikh Aqeel to talk about this. Parvesh was carrying a knife in his hand. After the verbal altercation, Akhil stabbed Parvesh to death with the knife in his hand.
Parvesh’s wife Shahjahan had a relationship with Aqeel during his college days. But later she ended this and got married to Parvesh. Parvesh had learned that after the marriage he had a close relationship with Shah Jahan and constantly insisted on meeting him. Times of India reports that his wife Shah Jahan filed a police complaint against Aqeel on Parvesh’s insistence.
Parvesh was staying at Rabodi in Thane. He lived with his wife and two children. He earned his livelihood by selling beauty products and jewellery. Meanwhile, Parvesh found out that Shahjahan was continuing his relationship with Aqeel, police said.
Then Parvesh called Akhil saying that he had to talk. He also had a knife in his hand. But it is not clear whether this knife was kept in his hand to kill intentionally. I. Pradeep said. During the argument, Akhil took a knife from him and killed him, police said. The police filed IPC against him. A case was registered under 302.
