Kochi: Kerala Blasters surged ahead in the Ramco Kerala Women’s League by defeating Don Bosco Football Academy, who were at the top of the points table, by five uncontested goals. The team topped the table with 10 points from four games with three wins and one draw. Purna Narsari bagged a hat-trick for Blasters while Sunitha Munda and Kiran scored a goal each in the match played at the Ernakulam Maharaja’s College ground. All five goals were in the first half.

Blasters took the lead through Apurna’s beautiful goal in the fifth minute of the game. The Don Bosco goal keeper could not reach the volley from outside the box. That shot smashed the net.
