I’m 17,647 new cases of Covid in Italy (yesterday there were 21,805, here the bulletin). It goes up like this at least 21.806.509 the number of people who have contracted the SARS-CoV-2 virus (including recovered and died) since the outbreak began. THE deaths today I am 41 (yesterday 80), for a total of 175,347 victims from February 2020.
People recovered or discharged they are altogether 20.951.268 e 20.287 those that have become negative in the last 24 hours (yesterday 36,969). The positive current – the subjects who have the virus – turn out to be in everything 679.894you seem to -2.681 compared to yesterday (-15.247 the day before).
The swabs and the scenario
I total swabs (molecular and antigenic) processed are 117,767, yesterday when they were 158,286. The 15% positive rate (approximation 14.98%); yesterday it was 13.8%.
There are two regions above the threshold of 2,000 new infections: Lombardy (+2,366 cases) and Veneto (+2,049 cases). Here is the table with all the data released by the Ministry of Health.
The health system
The beds occupied in ordinary Covid wards I am -40 (yesterday -159), for a total of 5,628 hospitalized. The beds occupied in intensive therapy I am +2 (yesterday -4) – this is the balance between people who entered and left in a day – for a total of 229 seriously ill, with 11 entrances to resuscitation (yesterday 15).
