The 109th annual festival at St. John’s Shrine in Wadiur near Surandai began with flag hoisting on Friday.
During the festival days, Tirupali and Kairayurai meditation is held every day at 6.30 pm. The main event of the festival is on the evening of 3rd September, the Holy Baptism, John and Marian Tho Bhavani.
Arrangements have been made by Vadiyur partner Leo, commander Arul Anthony Savary, Dharmakatha Maria Soosai and the people of the temple.
