He has worked as Assistant Director at Indraprastha Museum, New Delhi, Research Associate at Venetian Academy of Indian Studies, Italy, Academic Council Member, Censor Board Member at Shimla Indian Institute of Advanced Studies, State Vice President of Bharatiya Vichara Kendra, and is the author of more than ten books. Wife: Dr. Pournami Harishankar. Son: Balaskanda Shankar. The funeral took place. Collection Thursday at 8.30 am.
