New Delhi: Senior leader Ghulam Nabi Azad said that he thought Prime Minister Narendra Modi was a rough man. But Ghulam Nabi Azad said that the Prime Minister has shown humanity and mercy through his actions. He was explaining to reporters about the incident where the Prime Minister shed tears remembering Ghulam Nabi Azad at the retirement ceremony held in the Rajya Sabha.

Couldn’t even talk. He also heard her crying over the phone. He used to cry whenever the bodies of the dead were taken in the plane. He must have seen it on TV. Tried to contact again by phone, but could not speak. But he kept calling.
He thought that Modi ji was a rough man. He thought that since he had no wife or children, he would not even care about such things. But that perception was wrong, he behaved humanely’ said Ghulam Nabi Azad.
He also reacted to the situation of leaving the Congress. He was forced to quit the Congress. The Congress leadership gave him the feeling that he was not needed. He also alleged that the Congress always had a grudge against him.
Ghulam Nabi Azad left the party after criticizing the Congress and Rahul Gandhi. Ghulam Nabi Azad had stated that he will form a new party after his resignation. The party will be formed based on Jammu and Kashmir. He had made it clear that he would stand firm on his decision to resign and had no plans to work with the BJP.
