August 30 – Chance of heavy rain:

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in 22 districts. The Meteorological Department has said that there are chances of heavy rain in districts including Tenkasi and Virudhunagar.

More than normal:

The Meteorological Department has said that between June 1 and August 24, 266% more rain than normal has been recorded in Theni. It has been raining suddenly in Chennai for the past one week. Sometimes it rains moderately. There is also heavy rain in some places.

According to the Meteorological Department, the sky is generally partly cloudy and there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some areas.

Warning to fishermen:

The Meteorological Department has said that fishermen should not go to any place where the cyclone is blowing. In this way, fishermen should not go to the coastal areas of Kerala, Lakshadweep – Maldives, and the adjacent South-Eastern Arabian Sea areas. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of gusty winds of 40 to 50 kmph.

Hurricane:

Similarly, fishermen have been warned not to go to Kumari Sea and Gulf of Mannar as there is a possibility of 40 to 50 km wind speed. After four days of heavy rain at present, there is a possibility of moderate rain over entire Tamil Nadu, according to the weather report.
