Sharjah: Wish you had someone to find your lost items and deliver them to your doorstep? Wish you lived in Sharjah. Sharjah Police will now be at your doorstep with your lost belongings. You will get this unprecedented facility under the new scheme launched by Sharjah Police to improve the quality of life of the people.
The police have prepared a plan to find and deliver the lost goods to the doorsteps of people in the emirate. Director Colonel Yusuf bin Harmool informed that the first phase of the service has already started. He said that so far 97 percent of the cases have been completed successfully.
This is being implemented in collaboration with Osul Smart Application ‘Buraqu’. The first phase of this project was successfully tested at Al Wasit Police Station and will soon be extended to other police stations in Sharjah. Many useful services are already available to the public and government institutions through the Buraq application. Limousine car booking and exchange of documents between various government departments can be done through this.
Osul is an agency that has been collaborating with the Sharjah Government since 2020. This scheme is being implemented under the supervision of the Ministry of Home Affairs with an aim to ensure the happiness of the consumers.
